Why I don’t trust bet365 any more. How bet365 get free traffic from affiliates

I worked with bet365 about 7 years. So players base growth permanently and becomes big. They pay something and I trust them. But now situation changed and I feel need to inform community about my issue.

In December 2013 my account get huge negative =something like previous year earnings. When I asked for information about what happens my manager Alex Smith inform me that some player wins a lot on beach volleyball and refuse (referred to some interning rules) my polite demands to give full information about his bets (I wanted to see it cause know that limits in beach volleyball is very small and this story was strange for me). I decide to continue my work and send traffic hopping my account will come out from negative, but … until the middle of July my account has same negative like in december. My players from losing all years before like everywhere becomes winning.

On my proposition pay me for my work (I think bet365 earns on margins and my players make huge turnovers) Alex Smith don’t answered at all ...

So the moral of this story is that until you are small aff. they will pay you but when you become bigger it is easy to stop pay and you will continue send traffic like me for free until understand situation and then lost your players base and several years of work for it making.

It's never nice to go negative but in all seriousness, if you don't trust Bet365 then you really shouldn't be working in this vertical imho.

As you are aware we are currently in the process of discussing numerous different options around the current situation involving your affiliate account.

I am sorry that you feel that I have been unresponsive however I was out of the office yesterday and did not have access to my emails.

I will continue to work with you regarding this matter and will pick this up with you over email.

How many regular players do you have on daily basis?
Did it change a bit during your "negative" period

this year "Active Sports Users" +30% same period of 2013 (was positive)

Same happend here ,

worked for bet365 for about 11 years , all the years it was ok , but in june and july one player won more than 200 k on sportsbetting , no detailed information from affilimanager about this , so it seems you are not alone with this problem.

Eddie G , did u read my post ? Only one customer wins more than 200 k in a few days of june and july (this guy was active for seven/eight years and he was not noticed for all the time , all the years a smal gambler) - we have thousends of customers so what you will tell me ?

The total number of players do not mean much to small affiliates.

If ONE player is sent that makes the book/casino/room money, the affiliate that sent the player should get paid.

The commissions for an affiliate that sends that ONE player are at RISK until such time the affiliate gets 4 MORE players. If that affiliate only gets a player or two a year, their commissions would be at risk for 2 and a half years.

These are some intriguing posts on this thread, I would love to know how many active players they had during the time that this happened, just so I can compare it to me. Definitely a worry if someone was to win ?00k at 30% you're talking a ?0k negative which would definitely take a while for most affiliates to get back.

Definitely I think people should post numbers when putting up these kinds of things. E.g. did you send steadily an amount of players a month e.g. 100 a month until your gradually had a few thousand, or did you send a big splurge of a few thousand in a short time etc.

This is a total nonsense.

Without bet365 this industry would be totally ****** up. I just wrote to Bwin, who wanted some "deal" -> just shut up and look how Bet365 do their business. You do not need to chase me. Just make creatives that work, be honest, do not change terms. Yes, the only problem is sometimes their slow response, because one can feel how they are careful and discuss everything with lawyers etc...

But in short. DiverF1 was screwed on beach volleyball, which is a common sport for betting for sharp players. Those things simply happen. As affiliate grows, it is only mater of time when big downswings will happen. Right now someone at Bovada won 100K+ and he bet bets like Germany to win over Brazil by 4+ goals etc. It just happens more and more often as your business grows. I see my players winning 100K+ each few months and I am scared of a day when they win million, but yeah... maybe it happens one day, because we are growing.

Second issue, tippen4you. Man, you have a GERMAN betting forum and Germany won the World Cup. What did you expect, honestly? You should have hedged your position betting on Betfair or Pinnacle. I promote quite a lot Tipico in Germany and I was totally screwed as well in both months. Besides that WC in all other countries was perfect and Bet365 made me really happy.

Bet365 are a honest company and I will sacrifice one of my testicles for them if necessary. I am sorry that I am so annoying Bet365 ambassador, but if it will be allowed to tell **** about them, I can simply fire all the guys who work for me and prepare myself for emergency landing. If there is no lighthouse in the dark, even the ones who do not promote them will feel soon how much they can be really screwed.

He probably won some lucky bet, got confidence, bet agian, won, and came to idea he is God. So he bet max on some another parlay or big win for Germany... and unfortunatelly for you, he won. This is quite common pattern. Not all the big winners are big bettors. But the good news is that many of those guys lose all in future. Because they are impulsive bettors, who have never enough.

they are limited way before this regardless of whether they are hitting their slow moving lines

after misterious player wins a lot on beach volleyball (sure it was beyond all limits) my affiliated account becomes like stopped on the huge negative value without any comeback for 7 month so bet365 decide to get my traffic free but i stopped it in the begining of July

for those who trust them ask about turnover plan - it is the most honest option of partnership cause they earn in any case even if you bring winning evereday players.

no one from pros will win 200K, becuase of the limits

they can distinguish sharp players and arbers vs. whales

What is honest about bringing EV+ players to site, where they are not welcomed and then ask for turnover plan?

Bet365 do not want players hitting value unlike Asian bookies, Pinnacle or Betfair, so why they should pay for this garbage traffic?

I am getting roughly 3.5% overall from turnover with my revenue share, nobody will give me this rate directly. Why should I ask for less with valuable traffic?

You hurt them here and they do not deserve it. I became really big, delivering them huge numbers that grow and they never came with bullshit. They do not do what affiliates like WillHill do. They are 100% consistent. You are pissed off, because you "lost" money that you counted with. But this is revenue share affiliate business, those things simply occur.
