If you know Buzzluck, you know we've taken video to the the extreme--but not seeing even simpler video stuff on many affilates sites? So to the polls!
Worthless, waste of space.
Intriquing, would try it if I could cheaply and easily
Interesting, am planning on it
Essential, already have it and love it
Roadkill, tried it and now pass

Video is great. I've been generating some game tutorials. it's taking the graphics to the next level. Buzzluck excels in this.
I think Google will start to give more credit to those sites that have videos. What I don't know is in what form. There's a big difference from hosting your videos on Youtube, and hosting them yourself. I do not think Google will give you the same credit. So, I'm going to do both. I will place the videos on Youtube with a link to my site. On my actual site I will host the local videos separately with a video sitemap for google.

If you use video it must be done well, otherwise it can backfire. I am not very good at making good videos, so I have not included one so far.
Nandakishore,
Your right. The first time I got behind the camera I felt like a buffoon. Making them short and illustrating one feature is my approach now.

I'm thinking of offering it to affilates who sign up with us as a value-added bonus service, since we have all the kit and do it all the time... but wasn't sure if anyone would care hence the poll.
If it is cost-effective then I will try it, but if has no advantage at all its better to make it as static but full of interesting content.
Most folk keep hanging their hopes in Google crediting sites with videos. Well, that is already being done and Online Casino Reports benefits from it.
But truly videos are simply the preferable way for USERS to get their info. Gotta give players videos, simple as that, and difficult as that too..

Video works quite well for us

I programmed at least ten infomercials in flash least two years ago. Personally I love them but unfortunately they went with the site I sold a year ago. Wish I could post one of them.

Nowadays the best technique in link building specially when you wanted to gain traffic from the relevant sources, applying videos to your site or uploading videos specially in youtube will definitely a plus points.
