    Default Two Linx LIQUIDATION

Was going to check stats and was given this.

    21. August 2009
MALTA ?The Linx Media Group has today announced that it is seeking to put its businesses into liquidation and will cease trading with immediate effect.
As yet, the Linx Media Group does not know how long this process will take, but it will provide updates on the situation as and when information becomes available and when liquidators are appointed.
A company spokesperson from the Linx Media Group stated: “It is with great regret that we make this announcement. I appreciate the concern and frustration that this will inflict on the Eurolinx, BetOnBet, and Linx Casino player community. Affected account holders are those individuals who have agreed to a contractual relationship with the Linx Media Group through Eurolinx, BetOnBet and Linx Casino. All available player funds are held by these businesses. As soon as we have information on how to lodge claims with the liquidators, we will communicate this via www.eurolinx.com, www.BetOnBet.com and www.linxcasino.com.?br />
We have removed them from our site already but wish to warn others in case.

I've emailed my contact on Monday requesting details on the appropriate process for laying claim to the remaining assets of the company (i.e. getting in line to get paid). I'm guessing most of us will be shorted or unpaid completely, with creditors like their landlord and employees getting first claim to whatever is left. I haven't heard back yet, and based on the content of their statement it seems like this process is still being determined, but I'll post whatever I hear back.

This came completely without warning from my perspective. I'd been in touch with a contact there very recently and there was no hint of this. Their program profile, banners, etc. came down on Monday when I first saw the company statement mentioned in another thread but we'll leave the forum here during their closure in order to make sure the closure is more broadly heard. I've also renamed the forum section to add "Going out of business" and updated the forum section description to reflect the announcement.

I think the likelihood of getting paid on this was is close to nil. From what I understand they also owe on payroll debts, which I expect would be higher in line for collecting a portion of funds from the liquidated assets.

Twolinx.com was redirecting to Eurolinx.com for some time, with Eurolinx.com containing an official statement about the liquidation process. Eurolinx.com is still up with the same statement dated August 21, 2009. It indicates that space will be updated once a procedure for claims is established, but I am not sure on the timeframe that it usually takes to establish the process.
