Default Thanks for the short notice

Sorry but this just stinks......not only is an individual gone that bent over backwards for her affiliates, but brands are closing that affiliates invested time into getting reviews, banners, links, etc up. And on top of that a rebrand? You rebrand once what's to say you won't rebrand again? No thanks.....

    Hi Partner,
We would like to announce a change of direction for Harbour Gaming affiliates.
From 1st of July we will no longer be accepting registrations on betsKING, Long Harbour and Monte Casino. This will enable us to focus more of our efforts on LuckyBalls and Yachting Casino going forward. You will continue to earn revenue share from the closing brands, until they eventually close. A timetable for that will follow in due course, as will a plan to cross sell players to the remaining brands to ensure maximum earning potential for our affiliates.
This strategy will allow us to focus our resources to significantly improve the user experience available at LuckyBalls and Yachting Casino - from promotional budget to payment processing to customer service, and so on. We hope that you trust that this change in direction will benefit our partnership over the long term and we will be in touch to discuss precisely how in due course.
Over the coming weeks we will be relaunching the affiliate programme as Connect Affiliates, ready to house the two brands and we will advise on a date for launch. The new programme will provide new features to further increase the transparency and earning potential on offer. In the meantime nothing will be affected with regards acquisition on both LuckyBalls and Yachting and we would ask you to focus your efforts towards those brands as we start building up activity and optimize communications.
If you have any questions on the changes, please feel free to contact me directly via email [email protected] or via skype tom_galanis

Will affiliates who put time and effort (under Maria) be credited with any crossover?

By this I mean that surely all players who signed up will get an email suggesting they sign at the new brands ---- or maybe they'll be migrated. In either event, I sincerely hope that affiliates who pushed Long Harbour and the like will be AUTOMATICALLY credited.

    Hi Shay,

That is the plan. The technical aspect of it will be relayed once we have it set in stone.

The entire purpose of this process is to ensure growth is focused on LuckyBalls and Yachting and affiliates are seen as a vital part of this.

I appreciate the feedback Redbush54. Maria did a sterling job for Harbour Gaming and I've no doubt she'll go on to great things in her new role.

I apologise for the short notice. The sites do remain active for existing players. The purpose of the rebrand is to ensure longer term revenue between affiliate and program through a better user experience for players. Think of it as the efforts of maintaining 5 sites focused on just 2.

I appreciate it sucks in the short term, but we will be doing everything in our power to ensure player bases are migrated and your earnings, if you have any on the closing brands, recover and more on the remaining brands.

    Tom

The question is: are you players lifetime your players, even if they do cross-sell them to their other brands?

Players that migrate over from closed brands, using same personal credentials, will be tagged to affiliates who previously referred them, yes

Well, if so. Than it's a fair deal and together with this information the message is cool to me. You cannot expect that a casino will always keep all his brands open. Sometimes there's a good reason to close a brand.

They way Harbour is doing this, seems to be a fair deal to me.

I agree that it sounds fair. Although, for the affiliates that planned and developed content and marketing strategies around the specific brands who have closed - there is not a cost saving measure in place. Maybe offer some of these loyal folks some free content for their troubles? THEN, very few people (if any) could call the move unfair despite the extremely short notice.

It's really, very short, to warn affiliates.

Can you tell me when you received this Redbush? I didn't get this notice and the deadline was yesterday yikes. No loss to me since I didn't do well with Harbour but I would have liked to have had more notice.

Let me get my head around this. Harbour Gaming is downsizing and not accepting registrations on some brands as of yesterday and concentrating on other brands. Fine. Affiliates received notice yesterday. Not fine.

Tom, you do realize there are a ton of banners and links to these properties on affiliate sites all over the place and your program gave ZERO notice? That is prime real estate that is dead space. I'm flabbergasted. Haven't used that word in awhile but I can't think of another.

Could you please explain to me why affiliates were not given notice? I have to add that in all of my years I've never had zero notice on something like this. I don't have a problem with your business plan but to not let affiliates have a chance to get rid of banners is just not right. I'm sure you agree.

The technical plan is not set in stone? Please elaborate. To reiterate I do NOT have a problem with closing what is needed according to you but the way this is being done (entire purpose) does not encourage trust. It feels like affiliates are an afterthought (or not a thought) of this programs plan.

    Thank you.
