There is a possibility to hide mobile phone number to others in the settings, so in case someone does not want to share it, it is totally possible.
I like Telegram for communication
I prefer Telegram too. Skype to me looks like yesterday's thing for old grandmothers to communicate with their grandchildren.
my personal experience with telegram: everyone seems to not turn on notifications. So imo it can work for evergreen stuff, but perhaps not for time-limited or -sensitive communication.
Keeping notifications turned off, or reluctance to join groups is a simple explanation.
10AM in SA where a marketer might wanna put out the latest greatest idea since sliced bread is gonna ding a notification for me at 4AM.
As a global communications tool unmatched for what I have tried so far.

Maybe it's good like Telegram channel where you always post some thematic news about new slots or some prognose to football match and connect this news with site where you can try to play.
For me, Telegram is the main way to communicate at work. He is very good for this.
I personally adore TG. It is really easy to use & has many convenient tools to work with chats but (i haven't seen the statistics but surely it is easy to find) I guess Telegram is more common in CIS countries. I would definitely join a channel that covers industry news/trends
I use Telegram for communications with friends and family.

I totally get what you're saying! I’ve noticed the same thing with Telegram. People often don't have their notifications turned on, so it can be tricky for time-sensitive communication. However, for evergreen content and discussions that don't require immediate responses, it works pretty well. Has anyone found any good strategies to ensure timely communication on Telegram? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Why not just “silence” notifications during hours you would rather not be disturbed?
In Romania, telegram is being used a lot by affiliates in the gaming industry. They are using it especially to share betting tips. The problem with is is getting people to join. But I found that if you have a good social media following, you can start it really nice. And after you pass a certain number of members, usually it grows organically.
But you have to be very active on it. If you stop posting, almost immediately you lose members. At least this is my experience on the Romanian market.
