Stealing players thru cross marketing ?

Got this cross marketing player email today (if you copy paste the link into the browser you will find NO Btag (affiliate code)

What tactic is this, cheap advertising by stealing our referrals ?

The techies are always to blame aren't they.....BEFORE you send an email to your audience you CHECK what your sending or not ?

You do not send a "get well soon" card to the family who's relative recently passed away.

This mail you speak of is not intended as a cross mailer. It is our weekly loyalty mailer that we send to all our existing players.

All registered players are part of the Vegas loyalty lounge – and as a result receive mailers to earn more points and work their way up the loyalty tiers.

All of the Star Partner properties are listed at the bottom of the email without affiliate tags.

Example:
If a player is playing at Crazy Vegas Casino and gets this email and clicks the link for Golden Riviera and deposits there, is the affiliate going to get credit for that player now playing at Golden Riviera Casino?

The repeated conclusion of Starpartner that players referred by affiliates simply stopped playing is therefore not true

Our players haven't stopped playing but now play at a different casino because of these cross marketing emails without our affiliate code.

The excuse this is for loyalty points is just a bogus claim because it is more in their interest to get fresh players at their other casinos without having to pay affiliates. Starpartner has not sent these emails by mistake but knowingly WITHOUT an affiliate ID for the SP brands at the bottom

If you as an affiliate have referred a highroller you probably have lost that one with 99% success rate for Starpartner.

Star Partner replay at Russian Forum. They say that webmasters don't have comission if players sign-up via this e-mails. I think this is 100% cheating.

Are you guys tracking the players from one casino to the next? It's pretty much established that a player signs up for one casino and then is sent marketing materials for another casino. This is cross promoting. It wouldn't be a bad thing unless you didn't credit to the same affiliate for both casinos. I imagine it's not hard to do.

It would be a good idea to explain how you plan to credit affiliates for revenue generated on both properties.

For the Starpartner cross marketing question : I know the answer already : if they systematically avoid to say yes or no ...........it is 99.99% yes we cross promote our brands without affiliates being credited and this is 100% cheating.

In my opinion I reserve judgement until either Steven or Michael comment on this matter. I hope that they pursue this because to have a silver GPWA sponsor admit to it and nothing be done would certainly be a black mark for GPWA. I honestly don't think that they would allow it.

Hello!
I have working with Star Partners since ~2005 as affiliate webmaster. I had some little players and One big player (highroller) - he brought me about 5-10k per month. But after some monthes this player stopped playing. I asked support about it and they told me that They make all efforts to return this player.
Some times ago i recieved an email from existing Affiliate Manager of Star Partners. He told me that Star Partners steal my player and refer him to other casino! And he recommended me to ask about it the support of StarPartners. Support told me that they don't steal this player but they can't give me an answer - if this player plays at other casino (of Vegas Partner Lounge) or not.

After that thread I think that StarPartners steal my player through cross marketing email. But why on Earth they can't attach this player to my affiliate account???

PS all my emails was on russian language. Sorry for my english

Yes, they do an unfair cross sales. I'll remove their banners and links untill the situation is solved.
