    Default Statistics plugin

As you know, the site traffic statistics plugin is not necessary. Traffic can be tracked via GA, GSC and other ways.
However, I would like to ask what plugins do you use in this regard? My experience shows that most show wrong data if you have caching enabled.

For me, two plugins that show real statistics work: Visitor Traffic Real Time Statistics and WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic)

What you are talking about? Plugins you show you stats within your WP Dashboard?
Never used such stuff, Google analytics once a week is good enough for me.

The only case I need to see real time, would be during mb/ad campaigns, but then have them in your tracker (I use Voluum) anyway.

Analytics Insights for Google Analytics 4 (AIWP) Today I tested this plugin and it seems lightweight and very cool. On the list of pages in the backend and frontend we can click an icon and it displays a popup with full statistics of that page visits, countries, devices. You can change the color of the graphics. The data is taken from GA4.

Why bog your site down with yet another plugin, when, you can just access GA. If that's not enough data for you, then login into your cPanel. I haven't used shared-hosting for well over 14 years, but I'm sure most have cPanel. Even Plesk these days likely has stats.

So many options to gain visit stats etc., that are certainly a far better option than adding another WP plugin

For the most part, I agree. Personally, I don't need any more data than what I get through GA, GSC and occasionally glance at Bing WT. I don't like statistics from the hosting site because it doesn't filter admin activity and doing something day in and day out on the site this activity is high and distorts the statistics.

As I've mentioned before I don't think plugins are a bad thing, at the same time I try to have about 8-10 of them and never exceed 12-15.

Plugins of statistics as AussieDave said make little sense, I agree.
It may not sound serious, but for me these plugins are just a nicer graphical rearrangement of what I get in GA anyway.

SiteKit is an average plugin in my opinion. GA data shows with a delay. However, it is suitable for simple site tagging, if someone does not want to paste the code, it is always a solution.
