Spin32 - Unresolved issue (they refused to give details)
This started more than a year ago , to be exact on 6/17/09 . I had exactly $233.00 affiliate earnings in my player account . Tried to cash it but they asked for signed documents , didn't have a printer near-by so didn't bothered with it and just ignored it for a long time (bad choice , was taking a long break) .
On February 8th I tried to cash it again , but this time it was locked for security purposes . As affiliates explained they closed my account and seized my funds for maintenance costs (Apparently I had some some information on my home-page regarding an expired bonus ) . I didn't update or check the page cause it was sandboxed and had close to zero traffic . The affiliate account was still working and I could verify hits and during the period between the notification e-mail and 2.08.10 it had 17 clicks and 0 signups . (In Order to get the bonus they had to e-mail support , I guess that's where the costs went ? ). I e-maild them with this but they just ignored me (And no contact after that , forwarded it as well in case it got lost) .
I was notified to remove any information that is not accurate , but like I mentioned didn't see any point as there was no traffic . They didn't bother to notify me (e-mail or phone) about seizing funds? .
I'm sure I had some fault in this , but they should have explained those costs a little better at least and take the necessary steps to inform me . At this moment my affiliate account no longer works ,I can still use the password recovery function . Not the end of the world , but very unprofessional imo.
I had replied asking if you could let me know that you have removed the offer from your website. But I must be honest I did this from my iphone and being new to the iPhone world it must have not been sent via PM.
If you can Pm the links of the website and show me they have been removed, as we are still getting players asking for the offer.
This would really help us if you could arrange the offer to be taken down as it's three years old now.
I can assure you that no spin32 content was kept on any of my pages (even when the expired promotion was posted it was on a close to zero traffic page like I explained , cause I only updated the homepage ) , you must have great tracking system if you can't even tell the referral URL .
You made me curious , on what basis are you claiming the interested players are coming from my pages if not my affiliate link?
Is this related to the affiliate at PAL who got a bad cheque? An affiliate at PAL got a cheque for something like 600 plus - cash it and a week later the account that sent the cheque was closed and the affiliate was charged back.
