Hi All,
Sky Poker announces that snooker legend Dennis Taylor is expected to take part in the first leg of the new Sky Poker Tour, which will be held on Saturday November 7th 2009 at the G Casino in Manchester. As part of the build up to the first leg, Sky Bet has created a market offering odds on where Taylor will finish in the event.
Taylor, who beat Steve Davis to win the 1985 World Snooker Championship, has played in various poker tournaments. The odds for him to win the first leg of the Sky Poker Tour, a 150 seat, ?00 buy-in event, are 100/1, with 10/1 for Taylor to make the final table and 33/1 to finish in the top three.
Those who want to bet on where Taylor will finish in the Sky Poker Tour, whether they have qualified for a seat to the event or not, should log on to Sky Bet and click the poker tab, or click here.
After the first leg of the Sky Poker Tour on Saturday in Manchester, the tour will visit Newcastle, Luton, Glasgow, Swansea and Nottingham.
