Service for geo-blocking Ontario residents?

Hi,

Could anyone recommend a service / plugin for WordPress that I could use to block / redirect visitors from Ontario?
So far, I tried Geotargeting WP - it shows promise, although I'm not sure I'm doing it right, and IP2Location - but I would like to know if any of you have experience with something similar?

Note that I lack the expertise to do the redirect from .htaccess...

Have you considered maxmind?

Whatever you are gonna use, you need a really really good IP2Location database, that's very very updated and extremely extremely accurate, because half the time I've set my IPVanish VPN to Ontario, Google itself detects it as US and if that's the case you'd be blocking a lot of US citizens as well which can hurt you if you accept US traffic.

Be careful with geoblocks and IPs, things can get messy because of the databases.

The best solution is geotargetingWP. If you can't make it work, I do recommend sending a support request to ask for help. They will help you configuring the product.

I use NOIP Fraud, its expensive... $60/week. Let's me have a lot of control over my traffic and where I send them. It is not a WP plugin however, and takes a bit to setup. I mainly use for PPC campaigns, but I think it could help your situation if you can justify the cost.
