I see Shay's point that quick payment on an agreed date underlines the programs commitment to their affiliate partners. It also potentially does indicate a well funded program that is not waiting to receive money in order to make this months payments. This is not an issue with bigger outfits with 'bricks n mortar" establishments - some some of the smaller virtual programs do appear to be tight with cash flow.

However as I've indicated above in previous posts - being the quickest payer is not the most important factor - as long as payments are made routinely within the following month. If payments are being missed, delayed, or have other issues ... THEN it becomes a problem.

    Interesting, thanks
We usually validate amounts to be paid withing first 3 days of the month, and proceed within 5 to 10 days based on the payment solution chosen.

One affiliate, who also happens to run his own white label that also utilizes the "Award winning income access software" says in his testimonial

"We have worked with the Coral Affiliates team for sometime now. This well established brand is a household name within the industry and the team behind it is always there to answer any questions or queries we have. Emails are promptly answered and payments correct and on time. We hope to continue to build our fantastic working relationship with Coral for many years to come."

The other affiliate testimonial also states payments are always on time.
    Hi Shay,
I am said affiliate in the testimonial on Coral, and I fully understand your frustration we have had similar problems with other affiliate programs who month in month out we have to chase for payments. It does frustrate me also but as others have said in the forum post as long as we are paid by the end of the month then am fine with it. All affiliate programs work on payment in arrears for the previous months commission and most pay us the last week of the month or even the last day! A lot of operators use Income Access affiliate software myself included for our white label as it is one of the best affiliate backend platforms on the market, however payments are processed by different departments and even though some state a set date each month. This can fall short of a conference, weekend, bank holiday etc so payments are processed late.

Was it just an issue with Coral? You don't have to worry about payments from them compared to other large programs who were at LAC.

    Coral has now paid.

The issue was not with any one company - never was.

The topic of the thread is "Programs who attended LAC & "chose" not to pay on time". I stated I was going to post any/all programs who attended and were late with payments (per their own guidance) regardless of the "quality" or my "opinion" of them.

There's a fair bit of on-topic to slightly off-topic chatter in this thread but so far, of the programs I work with, only Coral has not paid on time. I'd bet the farm I'll be adding more over the weekend and still even more by the end of the month. I'll also have a few to add from other members PM'ing me.

    Thanks Grem,

My take away from the points Shay raises are that its actually very useful, if sometimes uncomfortable, to be kept on your toes in this way.

If we're to really contribute to GPWA as an operator or sponsor then it can't only be for the good stuff "we're the best blah, blah, blah" You have to be prepared to shut up and listen when someone thinks that maybe you're not doing as well as you might think yourself.

I believe Shay's point was more on principle than process; I don't think he fears Coral would disappear into the night and I don't think he would be overly concerned if Coral's policy was 'Pay affiliates by the 25th of each month' The point was that we could be giving the impression that we will always in every circumstance have paid everyone by the 10th, when that really referred to just my own part in the process and not the actual clearance date that affiliates should expect.

The point is that if a programme says 'x' then they should be prepared to be challenged on 'x' when they don't deliver on it.

My actions now are to get Legal to propose an amendment to T&C's 4.5 at Coral and define a time by which all payments will have been made and also, by using the new process outlined in my earlier post, see if I can get payments actually cleared by the 10th of the month or else look at rewording the FAQ's.

I download them when I reconcile the bank statements ,they are there usually a day or two after money received.

I see CBG - you prefer the monthly "who the hell is this payment?" grumble to the daily routine ...
I like to keep an eye on it daily.

in that spirit .. well done to Gala/Coral (13th Feb), and Chipsplit, Wagershare and BetOnline (all 14th Feb) for getting payments done ...

LOL Paul after all these years I know who they are and stats remote helps fill in the blanks when I am stuck .I have to admit that 'Pantasia Casinos ' are confusing but for most part I figured out the sender name = Affiliate program name ,the rest goes in Mystery Money Catagory lol

Yep - I've got to admit that I've had an "unknown payee category" in each of the last two financial returns too! I might move to MMC Ltd!
    Nice title.

Still - can't complain about an unexpected windfall ... a bit like the monopoly card "BANK ERROR IN YOUR FAVOUR - COLLECT $100"

    Dang,

I always get them cards that start out saying, "You owe......"

Great points, if promises are made that payments will be done by x date, try and meet that date and notify all affiliates in advance when it can't be done.

Operators should always keep in mind, when payments are late, some affiliates don't get to eat.

update : The following have paid us on time this month (well done and thank you) -

    Netboost Media,

Market Ace (improvement over last year - they won the "best bingo affiliate" award and then late paid two months straight in 2013),

    Probability Affiliates,

    Lucky Jar,

    Gala Partners,

    Sky.

The following programs have also been reported to have paid on time this month :

    Rewards Affiliates,
    Ladbrokes,
    DublinBet,
    Victor Chandler,
    Chipsplit,
    Wager Share,
    Betonline

So far of the companies who owe us money this month - Coral was the only company that was late - though to be fair, it was by a few days, payment has been received, Anthony was very vocal and proactive regarding the topic, & the t&c are going to be cleared up to actually "define" payment dates.

bgo buddies & ignite are late in paying this month, but that is not LAC related. Their terms clearly state pay by the 15th, but they've not paid on time in well over two years. Also worthy of noting, their FAQ and website gloss state they pay by the 28th, which contradicts their terms and conditions - but better reflects their reality.

Joy of Bingo have announced via their affiliate reports that "payments are delayed" this month. They announced such things before payments are technically due. Whilst I do not want their payment to be later than it is scheduled (they pay by the 28th per their terms. If they are late in paying, they get a pass because they announced in advance that there may be a delay. To be fair, they normally pay early (15th-20th of the month).

Overall, this is an improvement from 2013 LAC.

Joy of Bingo has paid. They nicely announced there would be a slight delay in payment, yet they still made said payment "on time" (early, actually). VERY WELL DONE both in advanced communications AND in getting money shipped before it is technically "due"!

Has anyone received payment from Paddy Partners this month?
