    Hi,

    For us as a company it is really a no-brainer, Instagram for the win!
    Since the latest update of Instagram where you can choose to advertise as a company, it has increased to possibilities of Instagram as a solid way to widen your company´s brand recognition and that is priceless for a start-up company that may have not have the funds to reach out via the classic marketing channels.
    One other thing that is good with social media today that it is all about the brand and not too much about the actual product that you are selling, yes of course your product needs to be up to par but if your main focus lies on how to actually market your brand your product will see in an increase in sales.
    Other things that are positive is that since Instagram know its users, when it comes to what they like and follow on their platform, the marketing is, for obvious reason, more effective then say adds in a magazine.
    In the future the classic ways of getting potential customers will most likely vanish as they can really be as on point then social media. It´s going to be very interesting to see what the future will hold.

    But mobile traffic is what you want? At least for us at thegamer, a large number of player do play via mobile or tablet today and that figure has steadily been growing as the years go, that´s why many of the gaming providers and online casinos are now putting mobile first opposed to desktop first. A clear shift has happened and the igaming industry has had to make some adjustment in what they think their players want.

    Also, people who are on social media are also people how play online, calming that these people are not potential costumers/players in my opinion is a bit odd. Deff think that playing casino on the mobile is the new thing.

    I like Pinterest more. You put pictures from your site and you can get visitors from there. Instagram is great for fashion, not for gambling.

    The best way for using Pinterest - is to get traffic + get links to maximize SEO.
    The best way for using Instagram - is to get Brand exposure and traffic.

    I've never been one for instagram, but have started pushing my account for the brand lately. Through traffic is basically non-existent but I'm treating it as a branding exercise. Interestingly I've seen an increase in branded organic traffic lately, too early to imply causation but a promising sign.

    For me Pinterest is the best for targeting niche and Instagram for fun or lifestyle publications.

    yeah I agree. Pinterest is definetely better for SEO

    I think both sites have their pros and cons. Although I know more people who are using Instagram compared to Pinterest. As what everyone else said, Instagram is to show what you have, Pinterest is to tell something about what you have. It all boils down to your preference on which site to use because they are still similar as with posting pictures.

    I use both Instagram and Pinterest. But Instagram is more easy in use as compared to pinterest.

    Social Media is predominantly a means to gain Brand awarness.
    The flavour of the month isn't really that important, so go with what your comfortable in using. Just don't spam it.

    Funny, this evening I was working on our social media and was looking to add Instagram, I eventually opted for Pintarest as it was easier to set up. In my opinion, Instagram is a great tool to use in order to record corporate type events and share them with your audience and (in our case) we will use Pintarest as a means to share branding etc...

    Depends if you are looking for paid ads or free. I recommend Instagram when it comes to paid ads because they are very cheap, but I recommend pinterest when it comes to free traffic.

    Good question. I mean, while they are both image sharing websites, Instagram and Pinterest provide two unique services. Pinterest allows users to collect and pin their images from others' posts and boards and Instagram encourages user created images and the use of hashtags. Plus i think Pinterest is more of a desktop oriented platform, whereas Instagram is more of an iphone/android oriented platform.     I would pick up only Instagram. It is becoming more and more popular. It is very easy to use. Also, when you use the hashtags you can reach a lot of people around the world. Also, people spend a lot of time on their mobile phones and it is very comfortable to be outside ant just scroll the photos of the people or companies around the world. I would never use Pinterest.
