For us as a company it is really a no-brainer, Instagram for the win!
Since the latest update of Instagram where you can choose to advertise as a company, it has increased to possibilities of Instagram as a solid way to widen your company´s brand recognition and that is priceless for a start-up company that may have not have the funds to reach out via the classic marketing channels.
One other thing that is good with social media today that it is all about the brand and not too much about the actual product that you are selling, yes of course your product needs to be up to par but if your main focus lies on how to actually market your brand your product will see in an increase in sales.
Other things that are positive is that since Instagram know its users, when it comes to what they like and follow on their platform, the marketing is, for obvious reason, more effective then say adds in a magazine.
In the future the classic ways of getting potential customers will most likely vanish as they can really be as on point then social media. It´s going to be very interesting to see what the future will hold.
