Default Permission to market bookmakers in Greece

Many Bookmakers in Greece ask me for permission from the MGA so that I can become a partner. Is there any other way to avoid this permission? Because it is very difficult for them to give it.

I think this question deserves a dedicated thread

Hello all, I am not entirely sure i understand the OP question - is he referring to the gaming malta authority? is OP an online affiliate? I take the opportunity of this thread to ask for advise, maybe someone will pass by! I would like to run a casino affiliate website to drive players to online operators. There are some countries such as Italy which will require a separate site for .it licensed operators only, but i am struggling to find information about operating as a casino affiliate for Greek licensed operators. Is it true you have to register to the gaming authority, pay 1000 euro? Is it true it is a nightmare of a procedure? Do you need a separate landing page similar to other heavily regulated markets? thank you

Yes, I believe affiliates require a license to operate in Greece and the price is around €1,000.

I'm sure affiliates who operate in Greece can provide more insight into the entire process.

Interesting, even though I am not working with Greece and are not planning to - I didn't think there would be a case where you'd need a license to have a website, which is essentially a "casino review blog", or so it can be positioned at least.
Surely there would be some brands that are popular-ish among Greek players who wouldn't ask for this?

Yes, he can definitely advertise casinos that accept players from Greece without a license, but if he wants to promote casinos with a Greek license, those brands won't accept getting listed unless the affiliate has a license.
