With so many different variations of revenue share models and the calculations thereof, we wanted to explain how we at OnlineCasinoShare calculate our partner revenue share.

It's pretty straight forward and one of the best revenue share calculations around, even if I say so myself!

Firstly, we work on ANW and not Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) like most other platforms. The majority of affiliate programs use an NGR model to calculate commissions, and these usually deduct multiple program costs prior to calculating the affiliates actual earnings.

These often include 3rd party game fees, bonuses realized, processing costs, taxes and other deductions, all of which result in an affiliate receiving far less than the expected percentage that has been offered.

For example a 40% revenue share deal may end up actually netting an affiliate 30% or even less.

We have made things simpler and fairer to our partners. We use ANW, or adjusted net win, and this is simply deposits less withdrawals less any progressive jackpot contributions.

We then take a flat 10% of that total as an admin fee, which covers a small portion of the other player costs.

With us a 40% rev share nets the affiliate 36%, which is a clearer and more generous compensation deal.

A player you refer deposits and loses $100. If you were on a 40% revenue share deal, your earnings would be $36.
