Angry Mr.Play Partners refusing to pay final commission to affiliate (RESOLVED)

I have been going through some of my older affiliate accounts and found some with some unclaimed commissions in them. I have been closing quite a few of them due to inactivity and due to the fact I targeting different countries now. The brands I have contacted have paid out any outstanding commissions and closed my account on my request.

I came across one brand who I never really had much success with but it still had some commission. I contacted their AM, Shiri, and requested payment to my eWallet and for the affiliate account to be closed.

He replied saying they would not be paying me as it did not meet the threshold. I explained I wanted the account to be closed and the payment was a final payment of money owed. They still refused. This is the reply and stance of Mr.Play Partners and how they treat their affiliate members:

I have talked to management and I was told we can't send a payment of €*** as our threshold is €800, as is mentioned in our T&C:

"You will be paid on a monthly basis, provided the amount payable to you is not less than ?00 for payment Via Wire Transfer. If this minimum amount is not reached in a particular month, We will be entitled to withhold payment and carry the amount due to you to the next calendar month and so on, until the minimum amount is reached. All payments will be due and paid in Euro or in any other currency in our discretion."

We can always renew our partnership and start working together again, if this is relevant to you just let me know what source of traffic you have and GEOs, and will close a deal.

    Thank you,
    Shiri

I just wanted to let other affiliates here know this is how these guys operate. Not only will they potentially withhold your final commission payments they also set quite a high payment threshold. I dont recall any brands I have worked with over the years setting their payout so high.

Yes i always ask a couple of questions like this when making a deal with a casino, like "Whats the minimum bank withdrawal" so there will be no confusion in the future.. This is how they make money.. but keeping so much unpaid funds.. It's ****

Thanks for warning. It's very worrying and what annoys me the most, is the fact that you asked them to make this the final payment to you and to close your affiliate account. Yet, they won't listen. That's really disturbing indeed. Just imagine they suddenly close their entire affiliate program without warning and they steal your earnings, along with earnings from their other partners. What foolishness

Sadly this is something that has happened many times before and will again. Sky bet stealing millions from affiliates was one of the biggest I remember back in 2017. They claimed they were shutting their network down but just closed thousands of affiliates accounts, stealing their earnings and then decided to work with a few bigger brands still. They also sold their betting business about 12 months later for over ? billion!

There are far too many scumbags in this business and the affiliates are at the bottom being shafted by all of them.

I am in the process of sorting this out with Mr Play partners. The affiliate manager Shiri has spoken with his manager and they have agreed to pay. He sent POP on Friday afternoon so I expect this to be resolved in the coming days when the funds hit my account.

I will update Rick who has been kind enough to follow this thread and he said he will mark it as resolved once I let him know it is.
