Maple Casino becoming review site

I got this email from Maple Casino yesterday: This email came from Maple Casino to my player account email. I've heard nothing from Star Partner or my AM about this.

Why, you ask? Well, as of 25 July 2017, Maple Casino will become a casino review site and all existing players will be upgraded to the shiniest, craziest casino around … Crazy Vegas, your only destination for superior online gambling!

Pretty smart taking a website with thousands of affiliate links pointing to it and turning it into an affiliate website of your own. But you do realize this like a punch in a face along with a big ol "**** you" to all your partners don't you? Or do you just not care?

You're taking away one of the most popular casinos on MY casino review site, and turning it into your own casino review site that will directly compete with me for Canadian traffic. Best partner ever.

I've been promoting Maple Casino for 7 years, part of my review is featured on the casino website https://www.maplecasino.ca/reviews

And this is the thanks I get.

They already did this years ago with Casino UK which they subsequently sold for a lot of money recently.

I agree with The Canadian Gambler. This is just not on, and at what stage was the Affiliate program going to advise their Affiliates, if at all?
I have also worked with Star Partner for over 10 years and had a very good relationship with them, so this is a huge slap in the face as far as I am concerned.

This is supposedly happening in 5 days time yet not one word from our Aff Managers?

Hi All,

We have communicated these changes in our July Affiliate newsletter sent wednesday 12th July 2017 under the section 'VPL brands update'.
Would you please check and confirm if you receive our newsletter. We know that it has been read because a few affiliates contacted us for more details. Some of them are members of this forum and can confirm.

Further to this we have also sent an affiliate mailer about this scheduled last night few hours after the players mailer.
A pop up will also be added onto our Star Partner website to make sure that this is not missed.

These changes will enable us to focus on our remaining two brands to improve player experience and maximise your revenues.

Thanks for responding, however I have just double checked and definitely did not receive an Affiliate Newsletter in July.

Prime example of why larger affiliates need to realise, that these days, no one is ammune from being shafted.

Be professional and polite, but trust no AM or program. They only care about their bottom line, not your's.

It's really important to have monthly newsletters so we can stay updated about any important information that just might affect us.

The world and the economy is constantly changing every day and it seems to be getting harder to keep up with all of these new changes as they come along.
