Default Kindred Affiliates (aka Unibet Partners) = SCAM!

    Hi All,

Just as in the title - Kindred Affiliates is a scam company. First of all, they reduce the commission (to 10%, and even threaten 0%) despite the fact that our custom FLAT deal was previously agreed and mutually accepted. They explain that they have changed their T&Cs and this gives them the right to do so... OK, but there are two things to consider here:

1/ informing the partner and agreeing on it mutually
2/ even if they want to change something, they cannot apply this change to already referred players, because the law is not retroactive - a rule as old as time!

Of course, they don't give a **** and treat their partners like rubbish. If they have such a way of approach and business communication, then good luck to them....

It's not worth wasting time and effort on them, because there are much better brands out there.

    Regards,

    FS

Yes, don't promote Unibet / Kindred.
They closed my account due to the minimum quota, even though there werde about 10 active players per month, generating them 500 EUR. Why did they have to steal my share of 100 EUR from me? I was 0 work for them. It's ridiculous behaviour for a company that is listed on a stock exchange.

Hint if you struggle with activity quotas: Set yourself a reminder and find a way to generate those required RMP numbers

Yes, Unibet / Kindred are a badly-run scam. This has been noted many, many times on this forum. But it is always a pleasure to put my two pennies worth in on these threads and warn anyone still promoting them that they will, like all the other dishonest rip-off programs, cut you off in a second.

This is the issue, people don't care till it is their account getting thieved. So they continue to promote these sham businesses then moan when it is their turn for the skim. (Not aimed at OP). Just generally the way it goes and we are all guilty of it.

Exactly, crooks like Unibet do this because we have never acted collectively in the past.

    - First they force quota in new T&C's (when you don't agree they simply lock you out)
    - Then they lower your commission (whilst players keep depositing)
    - To finally close your account

Unibet has been doing this for years and, just like many others, they forget who made them big when they DIDN'T HAD THE BALLS to market their own product themselves...

It is about time that affiliate directors and -managers are being held to account personally.

in addition, this is what we agreed on with Unibet back in the days...

any existing Dutch players you may have had tagged to your Affiliate account will not be migrated to Unibet.nl and will be forced to open a new account on Unibet.nl. Unfortunately, these new accounts cannot not be tracked to your existing Affiliate account.

"cannot" should be read as "we will not" or "we don't want to"....

(incoming lousy excuses from Unibet about authorities, regulators, technicalities etc. etc. in 3,2,1...)

Same thing here, I quit with them a few months ago after they blocked access to my stats - I emailed them asking why but never got a reply. To sum up: predatory terms and attitudes, non-recommendable affiliate program.

If you want to email the person who actually makes the decisions to steal players from affiliates, Ryan Henderson is the head of affiliates. All this player theft, from way back to now, is down to him: [email protected]

Just saw this thread, I started my own a few minutes ago, describing a similar story.

Ryan Henderson is personally responsible for stealing from so many affiliates, I am honestly surprised that this guy still has a job dealing with affiliates and that someone is willing to send his brands traffic.

    To whom it may conncern:

Ryan Henderson, Head of Affiliates, Kindred Affiliates - a guy you should avoid at any cost. There are enough reason to think so...

He doesn't respond to emails, but has no problem robbing you of your commission. He changes previous arrangements - unilaterally, of course, and you as a partner have no say. Is such treatment normal? Rhetorical question... And here and there is an interview with this guy....

I have had issues with Kindred too. Reduced rev share to 10% because I wasn't sending enough players (primarily because they fragmented my accounts by merging other casinos in to Kindred). I spoke to them, they said 'If you send more than the quota it will revert to the flat 35% deal you had previously agreed'.

    I sent the players.

    They did nothing.

I emailed them to say 'It's still on 10%'.

They replied saying 'Ok because we have seen a slight uplift in players' (I hit the quota for 3 months in a couple of weeks) 'We will consider putting you back on 35%'.

I emailed to say 'You agreed 35% when quota hit'.

They replied saying 'Oh yeah, we forgot, ok then we will do it'.

They updated my deal to 35% for all NEW registrations. The 1000s of players I have sent since 2013 remain on 10% as punishment for my sins. Not what I had been lead to expect at all.

I emailed to say 'That's theft you guys are the bad guys'.

I guess traffic is gonna dwindle and I'll find my new players on 10% soon too.

they did this to my biz partner, and he insisted on proof they had sent termination notice. they hadn't and had to reopen the account.

fwiw affiliate tracking has been broken on unibet for months. =>

if you send someone to the wrong geo tracker link [eg UK instead of IE], unibet will redirect to the correct GEO landing page, but won't track it as tagged to you - the referring affiliate. They know about this for > 6 months now. Guess it will get fixed 'never'.
