Integrating with WP... design recommendations?
Could someone provide insights or recommendations on how to best integrate a website like https://jeuxcasinocatalogue.com/ with WordPress, particularly focusing on themes or plugins that are conducive to a casino game catalog site? Additionally, are there any specific considerations regarding code customizations, design edits, or widget selections to enhance user experience and engagement for a gambling-themed website?

There is a ton of research here at the gpwa on theme recommendations and what people choose as their first choice.
I think deciding on what theme you want is a part of the decision on how to best implement operators, articles etc into the site.
You might want to decide on how you want the site to look, or how you personally feel comfortable about how you want to present the information to your readers, then once you have a better idea of that, trying to find a theme with the functions you need to reach that goal.
The question you posed is just slightly too broad.
As for themes that are customizable, most if not all themes can be customized to a degree using css and a bit of tinkering regardless, depending on your level of expertise.

One thing I noticed is your site takes a good bit of time loading the home page on 1st visit.
First, you got way too much artwork and large images on the home page. I took one image as an example. The aloha slot image, it is a 220k png. I ran a quick conversion to webp and it saved as a 75k file. 145k savings on one image, if you did that to more of them it would save upwards of over a meg or two just optimizing the images.
Not everyone agrees, but I personally think your home is far too deep and tries to do far too much for being the home page. But if you do decide to keep it that way, at least consider chopping those images down. Your top image, fr main is 250 something and saves easily to the mid 80's with no loss of quality.
At the top of your site you have the top 8 games, then lower on the page you list the top 3 games, but the top 3 are not the first 3 in the top 8, so which top 3 are your top 3 choices?

I've been using the Kadence Pro theme and the Kadence Blocks Pro plugin for my site, among a few other plugins. It's highly customisable and fast.
