Default GPWA Times Magazine July Article - Online Gambling Landscape

    Hello,

Hope all is well. Wanted to share an article from the July GPWA Times Magazine that provides great insight on the current online gambling landscape within the United States and how the Game Show Network has carved out a niche in the market with their “skilled game” offering. What sets GSN apart from other skill-game competitors is the inherent brand recognition and access to exclusive titles like Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal. This competitive advantage makes the new customer acquisition process more effective and efficient for our affiliate partners, resulting in a win-win situation for everyone.

I encourage you to check out the article and as always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the GSN affiliate program.

    Thanks!
    Charlie

I was very disappointed that the player must sign-up there and then from the affiliate link. I liked the brand and the games on offer, but I'd estimate over 50% of traffic from the directing site is lost because of your tracking policy (or lack of). The reader can't even look around other pages without been lost to the affiliate.

You mean the aff code gets dropped after they hit the site then click to another page?

Yes, they must sign-up on that page only. If I'm wrong there they can correct me, but that's what I was told.

    Hi there,

I just wanted to chime in to address the comments on tracking. We do not currently drop cookies when a user visits our site so credit is only given when new users register upon their initial visit to the landing page. We have many affiliates who have operated under this model for several years with success so we know from experience that a profitable relationship is possible for affiliates under this model. With that said, we recognize that this tracking method is not standard in the space and we are in the process of implementing a cookie-based solution.

I hope this provides some clarity and we're happy to answer any other questions you may have for us.
    Thanks!
