I am getting SPAM 5-6x a day - this idiot(s) is spamming for dozens of programs via multiple domains - all the messages show up in pure text format >

funspins.com, freerollmonster.com, playtake.com, in these examples, but there are plenty more!

I wish the programs would close idiots accounts like this and donate the money back to the industry in some for or another!

This is the EXACT same spammer I had trouble with last week.

I wrote to his web host and it seemed to slow down, so I kept filing complaints and it finally stopped.

I was getting them at 3 or 4 different email accounts.

Wouldn't it be easiest to stop this by contacting the affiliate managers at each program you see a link for... ? If they'll close his/her affiliate account and there's no money to be made by spamming... the spam should stop, shouldn't it?

I'm assuming each link in the mail leads to a different casino. So that part could take a little time checking I guess. If it were me being spammed, I'd be sure and find each casino promoted and I'd be talking to those programs already to stop this.

Yea I agree that should work, but the p[roblem is not enough programs do anything about it.

What most programs do is p[rovide the spammer with email addresses of those who complain and the email addy is removed and they continue spamming others....(not all do this as a few actually act)

Also, many programs see this form of spam and don't do anything about it because more research is involved...

They have to fopllow the link and then often have to stop the page load before the redirect takes place and look at source code to determine the actual affiliate id's and this can take numerous tries to complete.

Then, since each individual link does not signify which program it is the affiliate management has to dig thru a number of links just to find one of their own so it is often a very time consuming process....

I did quite a bit of follow up with the host/ IP administration so they are not going to be of much use....now maybe if we had a dozen of us write about the problem they might pay attention but I really have my doubts....

The group or indiviual behind this has no problem trashing dozens of domains according to my research....OR, the person actually renting the ip's is a hosting rese4ller and possibly is reselling the spam service....I didn't dig into the affiliate id's enough to track all the patterns....

I am sure by now you have recognized the pattern of the way the email is laid out, keep track of the domains and if you ping them, I predict all of thm will be on the same ip.

If you do a whois on the names, I predict they will all show one of 2 different Registrants.

Thanks arkyt. When it comes to spammers, they **** me off so much that I will spend way too much time getting what I need to then go bitch and complain to the affiliate programs. And if the affiliate program even hints that they might be considering asking the affiliate just not to email ME anymore........................... I start my bitching all over again.

I know not all programs will act. But I think most of the good ones will. Unless the account manager is lazy or busy and doesn't make it a priority. But after hearing me continue to bitch... I think sometimes they might act on it just to shut me up. lol

I understand we'll always get some kind of spam. But assholes like this one, that just floods you, and repeatedly, is not acceptable in my book.

I just got another spam from this idiot - GRRRRR...

I'm going to do this one SPAM site at a time - there are several GPWA sponser programs being SPAMMED & I fully expect GPWA to take stand against these programs if they refuse to properly address this issue in a timely manner. In fact I would like to see GPWA get actively involved in this issue!

I have loads of other spam messages sitting in numerous mailboxes ... took a bit longer to go through each email than I thought.

Had to do whois - then traceroute - the view headers on redirects ... they are obviously located in the Netherlands most of the sites thus far 85.17.40.XX ...

If you want to halp notify any Affiliate manager whos program you see being spammed about this thread.

I did some pings on the domains you have listed in this thread and out of the ones I checked, they are all using the same ip 85.17.40.179 and I did a whois on a few and thet are all registered to the same spammer

This is the exact same person who slammed me a week or so ago and I was getting the same damn spams in at least 4 or 5 email boxes that are on various mailing lists, so this person has NOT INTENTION of stopping and he doesn't care who complains....

In fact if you search for Gary J. Kuhlman spam the number one google result is the thread I started and hopefullyt this thread will soon join it on page one...

Its really irrating that some of these casinos link to to affiliate websites on their home page!!!

If the programs dont want to address this - I say we go after the registrars - let them lose their entire domain! Clearly after seeing EMAILSPECIALIZE.COM and PLAYERDELIVERY.COM - this is a MAJOR SPAM operation!
