Yeah ignore has been around for a while. The button for it used to be more prominent though didn't it?

Sounds good. Read only the stuff from people that already agree with whatever you have to say. Why listen to different opinions. you might open yourself up to alternate ideas.

(or was this post just about "spamming" fluff)

Or just ignore the idiots, because otherwise you get lost in the random "opinions" of people who have no clue and along with that you sweep away even the rare rational critics.

But even baning intelligent people from life is not that big catastrophe as to live with clueless ******* who just repeat what they read 5 seconds ago on twitter.

To learn how to ignore majority of people is the most important feature in the information society.

The funny thing is there are a couple of people I have on my ignore list but whenever I see a post I always end up thinking "I wonder what they said" and end up viewing the post half the time anyway.

I do that every 10th or 20th post and to date, I have yet to remove anyone on my ignore list because they always prove they were there for good reason.

well..

this doesn't hide threads started by people you mute, so they are not muted.

[also while i am here, not being able to upload an image is garbage. I just don't bother replying to many threads because using a 3rd party site + uploading a supporting image is a hassle I am not willing to endure. someone should really sort this out, for all of us.. no?]
