Aston Villa v Arsenal (Saturday, 3pm)

Two of the remaining three unbeaten sides left in the Premier League meet on Saturday when Aston Villa host Arsenal.
The Villains have been the surprise package in the opening four games winning four, drawing one and they currently hold the best defensive record in the division with just one goal conceded.

Paul Lambert managed to guide his team to a 1-0 victory at Anfield last time out but he’ll need his side to improve upon their recent record at home to Arsenal as they haven’t won at Villa Park in this fixture in the last 15 attempts.

Arsenal, meanwhile, came from a goal down to lead Man City 2-1 in their latest fixture, only to throw it away with seven minutes remaining, meaning they had to settle for their third stalemate of the campaign so far.

The Gunners?only league victory came on the opening day at home to Crystal Palace thanks to a last minute goal from Aaron Ramsey.

Arsene Wenger saw his side fall to a 2-0 midweek loss in Dortmund and they look short at the back, especially in the right-back position where youngster Hector Bellerin is currently standing in.

This should be a tight match, with Arsenal looking far from impressive so far so I’m opting for a 1-1 draw as well as a 1-2 away win.
1-1, 1-2

Swansea v Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)

Swansea might have lost their 100 per cent winning record last weekend but they’re yet to lose or concede a goal at home in all competitions, and they’ll be hoping that continues when Southampton visit on Saturday.
The Swans succumbed to a Diego Costa hat-trick as Chelsea won 4-2 at Stamford Bridge last time out. Prior to that, Burnley, Rotherham and West Brom all failed to score at the Liberty Stadium.

Southampton recovered from an opening day defeat to Liverpool and are now unbeaten in four games in all competitions conceding just once.

A 3-1 win at West Ham in their latest away game was followed by an impressive 4-0 victory at home to Newcastle which leaves them fourth just two points behind this week’s opponents.

Saints are unbeaten in the last five head-to-heads and have kept a clean sheet on their latest two visits to Swansea.
Both teams have made slightly unexpected bright starts to the new season so I’m anticipating another close match. I’m going for a 1-1 draw and 2-1 wins for either team.

2-1, 1-1, 1-2
