That is not cleaning up the confuison. That is exactly the intentional spreading of the confusion to the non-informed public.
BSV is not a bitcoin. And I am not Elon Musk. My gf is calling me jokingly sometimes Elon. But I am not Elon. I am not even Sherlock Holmes.
BTC is bitcoin.
Yes BSV is closer to (and will be maybe the same code after the fork) the original bitcoin. But bitcoin changed. Bitcoin is now BTC.
As I wrote, I can make my fork of original bitcoin. I can strip it of transactions not until 2017 fork on 1st August as it is doing BSV.
I can make a real bitcoin that changed the code in 2010. https://decrypt.co/39750/184-billion...nymous-creator
That Sherlockcoin will be the real bitcoin then. It will be the true Satoshi Vision, the first code used, so even more original bitcoin than BSV.
But sadly, even that will not make Sherlockcoin the real bitcoin. And yes, I can use those Sherlockcoins with my gf and we car refer it as a bitcoin. But when I will pay someone with this bitcoin aka Sherlockcoin, it is a fraud.
What coingeek and everbody around is trying is this fraud and nothing else. Until BSV is trying to say that it is the best coin in the universe everything is fine and I wish you luck, because I am bagholder of BSV.
When anyone is trying to say that BSV is Bitcoin it is on the same level as saying that Liberian dollar is US dollar (once someone wanted to trick me with this bs).
I am maybe the only member of this forum, who thinks that anyone has right to scam anyone else. So you have the right at least for me, as you have the right to destroy your credit score. But claiming that BSV=bitcoin, you are destroying the credibility of Revenue Network. And Calvin Ayre, one of the most respected figures of gambling and affiliate marketing, is also destroying his own reputation here.
I am not upset. I am deeply sad. RN is one of the companies that keeps us afloat. Even at other US faced affiliate programs I am meeting ex-bodog employees, whose careers started at Bodog and they are like a big family that spread all over the world. Just that is/would be an amazing legacy for Calvin and he will be forever respected for that. But when he decided calling BSV a bitcoin, he is trying to scam people and hijack the bitcoin. To me he took bigger morsel than he can chew and now he is frying in his own ego with his paid puppet CSW.
Also calling BSV a bitcoin and actually doing something on the top of it, e.g. the affiliate software, is 100% counter-productive. No one sane will believe to the affiliate/gambling software build on the top of "bitcoin", when that bitcoin is BSV.
People can become idiots at any stage of their life. The other way around it is harder. If BSV choose this way then it is "fine", but please not make fools of professionals. We are not the target group of this scam (at least I hope, sorry for speaking for others; sometimes when people even here do not know the difference between a wallet/address or blockchain/bitcoin, maybe we actually are a perfect victims of that scam and it is sad if we are evaluated as such).
