Betsson updated their terms - Stay Away!

Got my account closed this month too, and the ironic thing is that for the past few months I have been helping them with all the terminology and marketing for the New Zealand market.
Granted they paid me to do that, but the point is that I am still doing ongoing testing for them and need the money otherwise it would give me the greatest pleasure to give them the middle finger ( the chap I am dealing with had no clue that they had just closed my Affiliate account) Clearly its a big company where the one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing!

We had a total of 4 accounts, 2 for Betsson and 2 for ex-GIG.

Funnily, they closed first 2x B and 1x ex-G in November. This month they closed the last account too. Luckily only about 100EUR left as we had to remove them from FI SEO sites years ago. All was just ongoing commission.

Before they closed it, they shaved already on the earned RS, then they started bundling the brands and whatnot. Not much different to Kindred really.

We must always remember, AFFs are at the bottom of the food chain in iGaming. Thus, I wasn't too surprised to see the crooks showing their real face over the last months.

Can anyone read cookies? Does anyone know the duration of their affiliate cookie tracking? I think it was 30 days before?

I assume that they simply detagged all existing players from closed accounts.

As for cookies, think it is 30 days max from last visit.

If you see fewer customer registrations than usual, my conversions to their Rizk brand have dropped significantly in the past 30 days or so. December was also one of the worst revenue-wise months in last year.

Something seems very fishy with their Rizk brand (the only brand that accepts UK customers). Before Betsson's withdrawal from the UK (apart from Rizk), we had 100s new Rizk registrations (around 10-20 every month). After Betsson exit from the UK, the Rizk registrations stopped altogether. I have no clue why.

Stay away from Betsson:

Unfortunately I encountered the same problem, but the good part, is that I never made enough money with them. The one thing for me to do is to remove all of Betsson Casinos from website.

Get email from Betsson:
"We would like to update you regarding the status of your MyAffiliates account, which has been terminated as per Clause 5.3(iv).
Please be aware that your last month's commission, prior to closure, will be transferred to your affiliate wallet and will be ready for withdrawal in the coming day(s).
Despite this commission payout, your MyAffiliates account will remain terminated after this transaction.
Your wallet will remain accessible for a period of 30 days following our subsequent announcement, allowing you to withdraw the funds. However, it's important to note that no further cashout will be permitted beyond the specified timeframe."

Tried to login wallet... but of course can not ....

"Login failed. Please check the following errors and try again:

Requested account is closed. Contact your manager for details."

Betsson Group really knows how to treat like a crap affiliates who promoted they years. Exchanged a few emails with senior affiliate management, but they just do nothing not even answer anymore.

All the same here, 3 accounts closed, given 30 days to access the wallets but the wallets are also closed and you can't get answers from them. Thankfully haven't sent them accounts in years and it is only residual earnings, can't be bothered wasting my time with them over it.

They ruined every brand they ever bought.

So I've noticed a sudden drop of new registrations since December 2023, and in January I asked few of my colleagues to register through my ref link. Surprisingly, the registrations were not recorded. I asked my affiliate manager about it, and he checked with the tech team and said that there were some technical issues and that the registrations should be shown now. I still didn't see those registrations, so I asked him to check again. A few days later, he said that he was leaving BGA and introduced me to another affiliate manager to which I explained the problem again but he didnt respond.

So, even if you try to send them those 10 registrations in 6 months, you will have to make sure that there are no technical issues stopping you from that.

One has to wonder, do the "technical issues" only arise on accounts where affiliates are owed money?
Do these "technical issues" only arise after an affiliates starts getting some traction?

Yeah I got something similar. Although whenever I go to withdraw it, it ends up back in the wallet a day or so later.

We've received the same message and are having the same experience. We made changes to the content of our Brazilian-facing site but they still terminated our partnership.
