Anyone watching Formula 1?

Hi there

From this season, I started watching Formula 1 races and found it very exciting and interesting, as soon as I went deeper into the matter.
It's not just crazy pointless driving in circles as I thought, but unpredictable competition, with teams, calculations and a lot of physics included! Start of every race is especially exciting and tense!

Anyone watching Formula 1? What's your favourite team and driver?

ps. I'm also wondering if sportbooks offer bets and odds based on Formula 1? I think it's a good idea.

All the Dutch are extremely proud of Max Verstappen of course, an exceptional talent that is only 18 years old. At his age, I was fixing up mopeds and trying hard (and unsuccessfully to score a date. Max is winning Formula One races.

Three years ago, i spend a weekend with my brothers in Paddock Club during the Barcelona Race. For sure one of the coolest (and loudest) happenings ever. Including lots of champagne, great food, pitlane walk and meet and greet with some legends. I get goosebumps when i look back. Today i go for the upcoming champion Nico

Yes, there are a lot of bets based on Formula1 by many operators and they are quite popular among the punters.
Even livebetting is available

You are lucky you only just started watching it now, when the two Mercedes take each other out. Because for last two years it has been like watching paint dry. Best car wins.

Great drive from Max, it will be interesting to see how well he fairs against Ricciardo as the season progresses. He's considered the best or one of the best drivers on the grid and if he can compete Max is surely up there.

Max did us all a favour, that win might stop Red Bull crying for a few months. There was no complaining when Red Bull won 4 years on the bounce, then they threaten to leave when they fall behind other teams. Pathetic.

Fact is Mercedes are still miles ahead and will be until they decide to change the rules drastically (probably another year or two). Ferrari and Red Bull looks like the battle to watch this season.

I love F1 although I don't really have a favourite anymore. I always love it when the unexpected underdog takes a podium place. Once you have a good feel for what's actually going on it can be a really exciting sport!

i'm watching it since i was a kid. my dad watching it still even he is already 66.
i was a big fan of Ayrton Senna, after he crashed and died

i started to follow Michael Schumacher, Juan Pablo Montoya, Fernando Alonso.
99,99% of races i'm watching but never was live on any races even we have an course (Red Bull Ring) in Austria

Like Icemen (Kimi) too, but he was always a looser :P

Favourite Team: Red Bull Racing with Renault Engines

Favourite Driver: this Season: Fernando Alonso

so, in Monaco, go for MAX

That makes me wonder where world is going lol.

I follow F1 for a long time now, was really big fan of Renault F1 team, but then I supported Marussia, believing that they can get points, even though they never did. Now I support Kvyat, who sadly was relegated, but hopefully he can get his reputation back on next season go to some other team. I believe he is very talented, and was very disappointed with the Red Bull decision, even thought Max is a superb driver as well. Same goes to Sainz

So, Toro Rosso and then Williams for me, Massa

... love his driving and charisma!

Kvyat? Ohhh, I cannot forgive him crashing Vettel on purpose in Sochi, twice in a row. Not sporty at all! This is the least punishment he could get :P

I play trivia (pub quiz) on Thursday nights and they asked a question about this guy - he is the youngest to win a race and how old is he. We got it right because I remembered I read it here.

I stopped watching when Senna passed j/k. I love Formula 1. It's better to watch on TV as you can see the full circuit, but I always like being there live, feeling the rush as they roar by at close proximity.

Good time to start watching Jelena with the best GP of the year coming up at Monaco. I love F1, not so much Bernie Ecclestone though.

F1 sports betting is popular but offers are virtually non-existent this year. I think its because of the Mercedes dominance on the back of years of Red Bull dominance.

Can anybody explain me how the heck Hamilton made it with only one stop and ultra soft tires for so long? Aren't those new tires wearing down the fastest?
