    Hi guys,

We've received the following statement from Betfred regarding the inactive account funds:

Following our recent communication regarding funds in inactive accounts, we would like to outline to those who may have missed our recent announcement.

Betfred’s intention was to work with affiliates to clear up dormant accounts where money has been left untouched for months, and no new players have been sent over a period of 12 months. As part of this process, Betfred was not aiming to penalise any affiliates. We now recognise that there are affiliate partners who would still like to work with us. For these affiliates, we will reopen their accounts and set them to 10% revenue share until they can initiate communication to promote Betfred actively.
Please contact ActiveWins at [email protected] should you want to reopen your account, have additional questions or need further clarification.

As Acquisition & Retention Director at www.betfred.com, my priority is to build a long-lasting, mutually profitable relationship with all of our affiliates.

    Kind regards

    Punit Shah

Please contact is on the forum or by email [email protected] so we can assist in any way we can. -Regards, Bernadette

10% .......Take it or leave it losers......

I think my dog would not touch your biscuit as it must have some fungus on it.

GTFO with your stupid program, nobody wants to promote a scam these days any longer as you will close these account when they do not meet the quota the NEXT time.

    I have to agree,

In my opinion, it appears they are throwing that bone out there based SOLELY on the backlash they are receiving after it has likely become VERY clear to them they did not think they would be lambasted so publicly for deciding to just go ahead and take the funds from accounts of affiliates that Fred and his original team used to call "partner" so many years ago. (back when active wins wasn't even a concept or idea anyone had yet....)

Sadly, many affiliates may be forced to get their accounts reactivated and be forced to continue to work with them for a while depending on the type of traffic and players they have sent previously, based upon geographic and seasonal concerns. For those that are faced with this, be careful not to extend yourselves with them too much since BetFred may find such a huge reduction from a large number of affiliates over time, and who knows what they will try in the future in order to try and find that lost revenue.

I find it ironic that almost every single time we see a long long term program screw affiliates over, someone will come in here and claim how they are working towards
my priority is to build a long-lasting, mutually profitable relationship with all of our affiliates.
and how we always see these kinds of quotes immediately AFTER they just put the screws to affiliates that assumed that they had that kind of relationship with the program for the previous 5 or 10 years.

Based upon past screwing over, how the he** is anyone supposed to believe that?

In other words, "Even if we screwed you in the past, we won't in the future...".....LMFAO

Its hardly a quota asking you to send one depositing player in over a year, why should a program pay you to sit back and send absolutely nothing. Its meant to be a business relationship i wouldn't expect to be paid for players i brought in 5 years ago if i hadn't brought in a player since.

The main reason this has been done is to clear out dormant accounts that haven't even bothered to enter their payment details in over a year which clearly shows they couldn't care less and there only kicking off now because they've got an email about it. They didn't care 6 months ago, they didn't even know they had money in their accounts 6 months ago.

It IS a quota no matter what you want to call it.

And you are incorrect that affiliate do not care and haven't cared for 6 months.

And based upon statements made that zero traffic was received is a false statement in at least some of the documented cases.

And for affiliates that started promoting BetFred many many years ago, NONE of these quotas existed.

I wonder how you would feel if, let's say in 5 years you realize one of the groups you work with retroactively changed your agreements, and maybe keeps your commissions, or lowers your percentage, or changes your deal, even though it might be a retroactive change to an agreement already made.

I said it more than 7 or 8 years ago and I will say it again.

ALL quotas are bad for ALL affiliates. (by the way, I also said back then that one day more affiliates would agree with me, and many thought I was crazy then)

To be honest if the quota was one player a year and i was a "veteran" actively promoting betfred and wasn't reaching that i'd suck it up and would consider finding a new niche to work in because this obviously isn't the right one for me. As i said i wouldn't expect to be paid on historic players years back if i wasn't bringing in anything new in.

If I could agree more about the """quota""" / """inactive""" issue I would.... so stupid!

Lightbulb I'm telling you Active Wins is Ok

Could you tell Active Wins that I would be willing to make their quota. It comes down to motivating the affiliates who are on the brink of good work ethic.
